We had heard a lot about the Tefal Actifry Air Fryer, so we decided to have an in-depth look at it to see why it is so popular.

Verdict
The ActiFry Low Fat fryer is the base model in Tefal’s range of low fat health fryers. If need to cook for more than 4 people, you may want to opt for the larger version, or the Tefal Actifry 2 in 1, which is slightly more expensive. However, it is perfect for a family of four.
Design and Features
There are two versions of the Tefal Actifry. One has a 1.2KG cooking capacity, while the other has 1KG. It comes in three different colours white, great and black, so it should look good in most kitchens. You may want to pick a darker colour though, as the white one may start to look a bit grubby over time. However, there are better looking air fryers out there. But, if you are going to keep it in a cupboard, it shouldn’t really bother you.
The Tefal Actifry is versatile enough to use everyday. You can even cook casseroles, curries, beef stroganoff to sausages and even desserts.

The Tefal Actifry has Dual Motion technology. This uses hot air and an automatic stirring paddle to make sure your food is cooked evenly using a minimal amount of oil.
When cooking, it only needs one spoonful of oil to cook 1 kg of food.Also, It is easy to clean, as it is non-stick and uses dishwasher safe parts.
Using the Tefal Actifry
The Tefal Actifry is super easy to used very versatile. This is because the controls are very simple, it is easy to clean and you can cook all manner of foods in it.
The Tefal Actify has a digital timer with an alarm to alert you when your timer has finished. One thing you need to remember when using the Tefal Actifry, is that this version doesn’t have the Auto-shut off feature, meaning your food will continue to cook after your timer has finished. So you need to be in ear shot of it.
